The all father, as many call him is the spirt of nature. Older than many of the gods, Green Man is the embodiment of life, as Death is the caretaker of the dead.
Growth, birth, harvest, nature, and weather are his domains. The Green Man though he is the bringer of life remains neutral allowing his creations to set their own journey. He is often worshiped after the time of pregnancy for the blessing of a healthy baby. Or around planting and harvesting times usually large festivals are made in his name so the people’s of the land stay in his favor. Foul weather is an omen that the Green Man is upset, it is unwise to cross the Green Man less you wish to combat the storm he controls. There are many other gods of the elements that enforce their domain over them. The Green Man uses these elements independently without the permission of the individual gods as tools of creation, and destruction.
When a body dies the earthen remains are returned to the Green Man so the cycle can continue. This is done by either burying, or a creature eating the remains.
